Safety: Our #1 corporate value
The nearly 1,500 employees and countless partners who keep cargo moving through Georgia’s ports are GPA’s most valuable resource. When 5 million TEUs come through a single terminal in a year and 600,000 vehicles move via Brunswick, safety must be at the forefront of any efficient operation.
For these reasons, GPA has launched an integrated safety program called Safety NONSTOP. The focus of the Safety NONSTOP program is to raise safety awareness for all employees and partners — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The most vital component of Safety NONSTOP is a focus on the personal commitment of every GPA employee to be safe not only here at work, but also at home and in the community. The culture of safety at the GPA starts from the top. As GPA aims to be best-in-class for safety, it has made safety its number one corporate value.
